Opened for service in Fall of 2015, this new $12 million dining facility and student lounge suite are much needed improvements to the campus student life experience. Complete renovation of the existing dining hall and the new additions include a large lobby with protected queuing area, light filled dining areas, various serving stations, efficient dish drop and dishroom, and 40% more seating capacity to serve the growing student population. In addition to the dining hall expansion, the Butterfield Residence hall received a large student lounge suite complete with vending alcove and gender neutral restroom with direct access to a newly created outdoor roof terrace. Included in this project is also a significant infrastructure improvement to campus utilities to both support the project and for future.
